We know that was a lot of information, but don't worry! There is no need to remember everything because the INVU app will guide you with step by step instructions using text, animation and voice instructions.
Here are some highlights of a successful session:
Monitoring environment- You will want to monitor in a quiet, comfortable place, without distractions. Make sure to do what you need before starting (like going to the bathroom, phone calls, eating, etc.), because the session could take up to about an hour and movement can interfere the signal.
Prepare the following items-
-
INVU sensor band - Make sure the band is charged (once the band is connected to the app the app will show the battery level of the band. Other option is to connect the band to the provided charger and if the light is green that means that it's fully charged). Prepare your band- On a flat surface, unlock the front buckles and release the band’s four front straps until they are as loose as possible while still being attached to the buckle. Make sure all eight detachable sensors are attached to the sensor band.
Adjust the back strap to your size-
-
Flip the band over and note the top and bottom strap indicators. The INVU by Nuvo™ logo is located on the front of the top strap
-
While standing up, place the sensor band onto your body and hold it up with your hands. Slide your hands along the back strap and secure it, closing the back buckle. You should hear a click sound. Before letting go, adjust the band by pulling each strap separately to tighten.
-
After adjusting the band to your current belly size, remove the band.
Apply gel
Flip the band over the top and bottom indicators.
-
Apply a pea size amount of gel to each detachable sensor filling the center notch
Put on the band- To learn how to put on the INVU sensor band, please read the linked article below.
Get into the monitoring position- Once your INVU sensor band is on correctly, choose whether you will monitor sitting straight up, reclining or laying fully on your back. Make sure the band's straps are still snug and retighten if needed.
