How to clean your INVU sensor band?

Cleaning Before Use

1. Clean the INVU Sensor Band™ with CaviWipes™ or an equivalent, removing all gel residues from previous monitoring sessions. If an excessive amount of gel was applied on the sensor, wipe the excess gel that overflows the cavity with CaviWipes™.

2. Clean the band with a hospital-grade alcohol disinfectant spray.

3. Let the band air-dry for 10 minutes.

4. Wipe the band and sensors with a dry lint-free cloth.

Cleaning After Use

It is very important to clean the band immediately after completing a monitoring session to avoid accumulation and drying of gel on the band and its sensors.

1. Remove and power OFF the band by a long press on the power button.

2. Detach the removable sensors from their connectors

   

3. Rinse the detached sensors with tap water until no residue of gel is left in the sensor's cavity.

4. Let the detached sensors air-dry or use a dry lint-free cloth; then reattach the sensors to the band sockets (should hear a click sound at attachment).

5. Spray all plastic parts and cables with an alcoholic based spray provided in the 'Personal Kit' package and wipe the spray with a dry lint-free cloth.

6. Clean the outer side of the band by spraying with an alcoholic based spray and drying with a lint-free cloth.

7. Clean the inner side of the band (the part facing the abdomen), including the Acoustic sensors and the detachable sensors, with an alcoholic based spray provided:

   

    

8. Let the band air-dry for 10 minutes

9. If the device does not appear to be clean at the end of this process, repeat steps.
